Airport Terminal Phases 1, 2, & 3

Wilkinson Electric provided the electrical scope for the passenger terminal at Provo Municipal Airport, a 309,000-square-foot facility. The project required a complete electrical buildout, including primary service distribution, main switchgear, transformers, and panelboards designed to support ticketing areas, TSA screening, baggage handling systems, airline operations, concessions, and administrative offices. Careful coordination with the City of Provo, Jacobson Construction, and utility provider ensured the terminal was equipped with sufficient capacity for both current airline operations and future expansion phases.

The interior electrical scope included architectural and LED lighting for key areas throughout the building. Dedicated circuits were installed for major equipment, such as baggage conveyor systems, screening equipment, and tenant spaces. Emergency power and life-safety systems were put in place to meet code requirements and ensure smooth operation during peak travel periods. In addition to power distribution, the project included comprehensive low-voltage infrastructure such as fire alarm systems, security cameras, access control, communications cabling, and exterior site lighting.
