Completed in 2017, the Cedar City Utah Temple features a modern, mountain-inspired design that stands as a prominent architectural landmark in southern Utah. It consisted of a 42,657 square-foot, four-story building with a mechanical penthouse on the roof and a separate maintenance building. The project featured extensive decorative site and building lighting, requiring exceptional attention to detail. Each electrical element, both interior and exterior, had to be meticulously laid out and installed to the most precise standards.
Our scope of work on this project included all Division 26, 27, and 28 work, which covered lighting, power, A/V systems, security, fire alarm, and tele-data infrastructure. In addition, we coordinated closely with other trades and the design team to ensure integration of all electrical and low-voltage systems throughout the temple, while maintaining the sacred aesthetic and architectural integrity expected of such an important religious structure.
